Douglas Fir shafts (the strongest of all the Fir) in 11/32
Genuine old growth Douglas Fir grown on Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula.
The Olympic Mountains run through the Peninsula giving us a Fir grown in the high country for maximum strength and fine grain.
All our Fir is cut from hand split blocks, so the shafting follows the grain.
Fir is heavier and stronger than most other softwood arrow shafts- Heavy in the high spine(500 grains plus)- reasonable weight in the lower spine- a 40 pound shaft can weigh in at about 350 grains- the lower weight shafts are very fine grain, with the high spine grain a little more open grain, but still fine grained.
Douglas Fir is a grainy wood for that woody look
All shafts are 32” or cut to your length - All shafts are shaft lengths- add one inch for BOP(BACK OF POINT LENGTH)
All shafts are spined in 5 pound groups and weight matched to a 10 grain span or less.

BARRELED and BREASTED TARGET SHAFTS
THESE SHAFTS ARE HAND SELECTED FROM THOUSANDS OF SHAFTS FOR
THEIR LOW WEIGHT AND STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY. THE SHAFT TAPERS
ARE 12" AND A SMOOTH TRANSITION TO THE PARALLEL SECTION
OF THE SHAFT. SHAFTS ARE MATCHED SETS, within 10 grains, HAND
STRAIGHTENED, and hand spined to within 5 lbs ,CUT TO LENGTH,
WITH POINTS AND NOCKS TAPERED.
Don’t forget to include your arrow length, back of point or
shaft length, as the barrel or breasted must be cut to your
length before tapering. Nock and point taper is part of your
price. If you want the point end left square for screw on or
slip on point let us know .
Breasted (barrel)11/32 tapered to 9/32 on the nock end and 5/16 on the
point. The 12 inch nock end shaft taper is a little longer than the point end
taper of 5/16. These are great performer with built in foc. Great point of aim range $45.00

GLUE STICK, for your hot glue gun, We went to the manufacture to get
the right stuff. Specially formulated for wood to metal, much stronger
than the general purpose white, or the wood to wood yellow glue stick

BRASS POINTS IN 9/32 & 5/16, We had to go to the U.K. to get these bullet
points. They use the standard shaft taper and are glue on. Accurate
in size and well manufactured.
